In these Hills
In These Hills follows the story of Aislynn Trompler and Sarah Crabtree – two women from “The Red” who grew up in oil drilling and coal mining families.
In their community, resources were becoming scarce until climbers entered the Red River Gorge. Now an unconventional outdoor community is giving them reason to stay and better the place where they were raised.
Amid economic struggle and substance abuse, can rock climbing save their Eastern Kentucky home?
In These Hills is a Steep South film in production with Sends And Suffers Media.
